MAGNA TRAK

Magna-Trak detects the magnetic fields of all underground concealed pipe and cable systems, as well as metal fittings. Using this technology, hydrants, manhole covers, marker-magnets, slide rods, surveying marks and surveying rods are easily detected.

The Magna-Trak converts magnetic waves into acoustical and optical signals which enable the operator to visualise the character and depth of the fittings.

The magnetic locator is easy to operate and enables anyone, after familiarisation, precise and effective detection of buried or covered fittings, which otherwise would have to be inspected by labour, time and cost intensive excavation work.

Magna Trak indicates the signal acoustically or via a LCD Display. Further Magna Trak features include an erase function which eliminates any extraneous interferences with other magnetic objects (i.e. cars, fences, street, etc), which enables precise location of the target; once the erase system is set it is not necessary to recalibrate the Magna Trak.
